Association for Experiential Education (AEE) - Northeast
Random Achievement Awards

A Northeast Regional tradition in which the honor is random but the achievement is special.

In 1997 Canadian colleagues in Nova Scotia hosted the Northeast Regional Conference. A wonderful ritual began honoring regional conference participants, a tradition that continues today.

Conference attendees have the opportunity to recognize the achievements, big or small, of their fellow educators. These achievements are collected throughout the conference. Achievements are randomly selected from "the hat" and shared with the conference. Individuals whose achievements are randomly selected receive a $50 discount off the following year's regional conference.
