SCHOLARSHIPS
The Association for Experiential Education brings passionate experiential educators together numerous times a year through regional and annual conferences. Conferences create an opportunity for people to network, to learn about the wonderful programs, practices, and research other folks are doing, as well as develop oneself professionally through participation in workshops and presentations. Plus, you get to enjoy the company and camaraderie of other educators!
The Northeast Council recognizes that the costs of attending a conference can prevent people from joining these gatherings and networking opportunities. In an effort to include folks who may not be able to attend due to financial reasons we are very excited to offer scholarship opportunities to our membership and we look forward to awarding the following scholarships:
One $500 scholarship for the Annual Conference in November.
The DEADLINE to apply for this scholarship is AUGUST 31st, 2008.
Who will be awarded these wonderful opportunities? Scholarship qualifications are minimal:
- Applicant needs to live in the Northeast Region.
- Applicant needs to be an AEE member or affiliated with an AEE organizational member
- Applicants can apply for a regional and annual conference scholarship but will only be awarded one.
- Scholarship recipients cannot apply for another Northeast Region Scholarship for four years after the date of the conference.
